Expert exchange on LEADER with experts from the Bulgarian Paying Agency, May 28th, 2019

Leader experts from the Bulgarian Paying Agency visited AMA to get familiar with the Austrian LEADER approach and to share best practice. The AMA expert Mr. Wolfgang Jakubec presented the Austrian system. The presentation focused on the functions, tasks and responsibilities of the respective institutions in the implementation process, the Local Action Groups (LAGs), the Beneficiary and the Paying Agency.

During the meeting, the participants discussed in detail about the required documentation for the application, the eligibility criteria as well as eligible costs for financial support. The Bulgarian experts showed particular interest on the database and its functionalities used in Austria to process LEADER projects.
