Experts of the Moldavian Paying Agency AIPA received training from AMA

Within the framework of the CEI Know how Exchange Program (KEP) Project “Support to the Agency of Interventions and Payment for Agriculture (AIPA) of Moldova”. A training tour of AIPA experts to AMA took place in cw 37 (Monday 9th September until Friday 13th September). The project is co-financed by the CEI with funding of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).

The training programme included the implementation of Rural Development investment measures and financial administration in Austria. The experts also visited the Chamber of Agriculture and the Provincial Government of Lower Austria for the payment claims and payment authorization.

AIPA experts showed particular interest in tasks and responsibilities of the department for finance and accounting, the reporting and payment recovering according EU standards. Also the accreditation requirements for accounting and finance in line with EC Regulation Nr. 885/2006 were presented. Furthermore the collaboration between the department for finance and accounting with other departments of AMA were discussed.
