Kick-off Meeting of new Twinning Light in Serbia

On 5th May 2015 the Kick off Meeting of the new Twinning Light Project "Assistance to the Managing Authority of the Serbian MAEP in negotiation and accreditation of the IPARD 2014-2020 Programme" was held.

The Beneficiary Project Leader and Head of Managing Authority, Mr. Dragan Mirkovic, the Austrian Project Leader Mr. Franz Patschka, experts from the MAEP and international experts as well as representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia participated in the meeting.

This project with duration of 6 months will support the Managing Authority within the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection on its further preparation for national accreditation to reach the future process of Entrustment of Budget Implementation.

Other project activities are dedicated to inform the Advisory Service on IPARD II in general and to provide training on their future tasks.

During the meeting the work plan and its amendments were discussed and formally approved. The participants further agreed on the short term expert mission plan for the first three months.
