Official start of the Twinning Project in Moldova

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova issued the notification to officially start the Twinning Project “Capacity building of the Moldovan Agency for Intervention and Payment in Agriculture (AIPA) for the application of EU norms and standards for the administration of ARD support schemes”. Our team is ready to start the project on Wednesday, 7th of December 2016.

AMA in cooperation with SZIF from Czech Republic and ARMA from Poland will jointly implement this project with the beneficiaries from AIPA over the next 2 years. Ms. Sonja Schalud, the Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) will be based in Chisinau and strongly support an efficient and effective project implementation.

The overall project objectives are to support the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry in improving its financial capability and governance to implement the Agriculture and Rural Development policy objectives and to strengthening AIPA´s institutional capacity to administer RD support measures in line with EU norms and standards.
