Study visit of Auditors of the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture to Austria

Auditors of the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture visited Austria to deepen their knowledge on the accreditation of the Paying Agency under EU requirements. The visited both the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management as well as Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA), the Austrian Paying Agency for Agriculture and Rural Development. Important topics addressed during the week were the introduction into the Austrian auditing system, clearance of accounts, irregularities management, tasks of competent authority and internal audit, audit planning, reporting, cooperation between certifying body and AMA, coordination body, EU funds committees, Member State Commission and others.
