Twinning Agrifood - 4th Steering Committee Meeting successfully held.

Thrilled to inform you that the 4th Project Steering Committee meeting was held on Thursday (2^nd September 2021) this week. We are now halfway through the project which is the biggest support to Moldova’s agriculture offered by the EU.

The new Minister of Agriculture and Food industry, Mr. Viorel Ghergiu, representatives from the EU delegation, from ANSA, AIPA, MAFI and from the Twinning project reflected over the last 3 months of project implementation.

Commitment towards the ambitious task to develop the National Strategy during the immediate future was assured as well as its alignment with European standards.  

The discussion about the next steps was guided by the aim to adapt the project's work plan to the institutional needs.

Finally, the work is progressing rapidly due to the high level of dedication from all the parties.
